Moderately serious heai injuries were suffered by ; pedestrian who was hit by i car at the corner of Moor house Avenue and Madra: I Street about 8.35 yesterda; i morning. Miss Alison Ma; ! Baird, aged 18, of 122 Kin; ; Street, Sydenham, wa: j admitted to Christchurcl Hospital where her conditioi last evening was fair. A 30-year-old man wa: admitted 'to Christchurcl Hospital with head lacera tions and concussion sufferec in an accident between tw< trucks and a car on the Bien heim Road overbridge abou’ 7,50 a.m. yesterday. He is Keith Alwyr Nuttall, of 8 Montagut Street, Islington, who was ir a fairly satisfactory cpndi tion last evening.
