Sir, —Elsie Locke, in reply to my protest, asks if I “really want to live with a fat wallet in a country devoid of children." This must be an example of feminine logic because I’m damned if I can make head or tail of it. I still maintain that people should have children if only they can afford to bring them up properly, which does not mean indulging their every whim, as many mothers seem to think nowadays.—Yours, eC ” DISGUSTED.
