Prelude to Medina trial
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) WASHINGTON, March 28. Pre-trial hearings of the case against Emest Medina, the United States Army captain who is charged with the premeditated murder of more than 100 civilians at My Lai, will begin at Fort McPherson, Georgia, on May 24. Medina is also charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. The Army says that the initial hearings will be open to the public, and probably brief.
