N.Z. CALF FOR SALE
(N.Z. Press Association) SYDNEY, March 26. A pure bred Charolais heifer calf imported from New Zealand this week will be sold, A director of the Charolais Breeders’ Stud of Australia, Pty, Ltd, Mr C. Messiter, said. > The calf. Summer Glory, would be syndicated into three shares of $15,000 each, Mr Messiter said. Shareholders would be able to breed into a pure Charolais stud more quickly then anyone else in Australia, he said. Summer Glory was by the New Zealand import, Cowcroft Emperor, now standing at the Government A.I. centre, at Newstead. Cowcroft Emperor’s semen would be available in Australia in December this year at the ruling price of $lO.BO a phial.
