TV inquiry report
(N.Z. Press Association? WELLINGTON, March 24. It was not possible for the New Zealand Broadcasting Authority to give any indication when its report on the inquiry into television services would be available, the Minister of Broadcasting (Mr Walker) said in a statement. “My attention has been drawn to a number of unofficial news items which have been released by various news media concerning the date when the report of the inquiry by the New Zealand Broadcasting Authority into television services in
New Zealand is likely to be completed,” said the Minister. “Having regard to the extensive nature of the submissions and evidence given at the hearing, it is not possible for the Authority to give any indication at this stage when its report will be available to me.”
