Study of hostel allowances
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Mar. 23. Boarding or bursary allowances for country children may be reviewed by the Government. The Minister of Education (Mr Taiboys) said in Parliament today that because of an increase in fees by some boards at State secondary school hostels a survey was being made.
Mr Taiboys was replying to a question from Mr I. J. Brooks (Lab., Marlborough).
