Man presumed drowned
(N.Z. Press Association) ■ ROTORUA, Mar. 23. A Taupo fisherman, Irwin George Lawson, has been officially listed as missing, presumed drowned, in Lake Taupo. Mr Lawson left from Two Mile Bay in his boat at 8 a.m. on Sunday. The boat was found adrift five hours later at the southern end of Western Bays, with the engine still in: gear. A search was made by boats and aircraft.
