"The Press" Special Service DUNEDIN. Shewetta showed that she was ready to test the opposition In the Provincial Handicap at the Dunedin Jockey Club's meetIng on Saturday when she
worked with oil her old brilliance at Wingatui yesterday. Shewetta (M, Kennedy) was accompanied by her stablemate, Royal Mount (E. Didham), when she dashed over half a mile on the sand In 51 2-ssec, the last three furlongs in 39 3-Ssec. Over the same ground. Black Orphan (E. Didham), Gay Peter (M. Kennedy), and Red Paper (J. Brown) were together In 53sec, the last three furlongs in Msec. Leyleigh (M. Denton), Stormcrest (E. Didham), and Clarendon Princess tW. Riach) were clear of Western Note (M. McKewen) throughout half a mile in 53 l-ssec. Lady Kelso (R. McAra) and Circulation (G. Scott) finished clear of Pickering (G. Mee), whose saddle had slipped, when sprinting home the last three furlongs in 38 4-ssec. Moranski (E. Didham) and San Louise (L. Didham) ran the first two furlongs in 26sec, and completed five in Imin 6 4-ssec. Footloose (R. McAra) ran the last three furlongs of four in 38sec. On the plough, Watallan (B. Anderton) and Jane Mellay (E. Didham) were together throughout half a mile in 52 2-ssec. Blazing Gold (P. Silver) dashed over three furlongs in 38 3-ssec.
