Health literature on display
A number of chemists in Christchurch are taking part in a New Zealand-wide scheme to display literature on health matters in their shops to promote a greater awareness and knowledge .of public health problems.
The Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand is running the scheme in association with the Department of Health. Initially about onethird of the pharmacies in New Zealand will show the literature, which will be changed each month. This month the literature includes such topics as slimming, rescue breathing, venereal diseases, food care, pesticide safety, school lunches and alcohol.
