Runabout at Whakatane
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) WHAKATANE, February 7. Mr B. Goff, of Wellington, arrived at Whakatane at 11.30 a.m. today during the course of a voyage around the North Island in a 14ft runabout. He left Wellington last week, and after leaving Gisborne on Friday took shelter at Hicks Bay. After a shower and a few telephone calls, Mr Goff left Tauranga and said he' was still determined to be the first sailor to make the trip round the North Island in a runabout.
