Bacon prices to rise
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 5. An Auckland bacon company which last month reduced the prices of six bacon cuts by up to 4c a lb, will increase four of the prices on Monday. A spokesman for the Kiwi Bacon Company, Ltd, said today that increased costs in the last month in killing charges and raw materials had made it necessary to raise the price'Of four cuts to the old level.
