Central Canterbury power charges
Sir,—What next? Piped music in the lift of the power, board’s new building because an architect suggests it! The building will not be completed for at least four months, so there is time to
alter that. The chairman says they hope to arrange public tours of inspection before the opening. What about an organised free tour for pensioners to hear this “piped music” for which their children and grandchildren must pay $225 down and $4.25 a week in perpetuity?—Yours, etc., INDIGNANT PENSIONER. February 5, 1971.
