P.M. BACK IN HOUSE TODAY
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 23. The Prime Minister (Sir Keith Holyoake) will assume leadership of Parliament tomorrow after an absence of four weeks. He announced this today at his first Cabinet press conference since his admission to hospital for a prostate operation late last month. “I am pretty well,!’ he told reporters. “I am getting stronger every day, and progressing quite satisfactorily.” He said, however, that he would not attend today’s Official luncheon for -the Australian Minister of Defence (Mr M. Fraser) and he was “not sure” about evening sittings of Parliament. Sir Keith Holyoake attended last Monday’s Cabinet meeting for about half an hour, but today’s meeting was his first full One as chairman. He said he had resumed responsibility for all his portfolios last week.
