Crown’s claim adjourned
(N.Z. Press Association) BLENHEIM, Nov. 23. The hearing set down in the Supreme Court of a claim by the Attorney-General for $4249, being unrecovered money stolen in the Blenheim Post Office theft of 1968, has been adjourned to allow details of an out-of-Court settlement to be worked out The adjournment was granted by Mr Justice White today after counsel for the two parties had sought adjournment to the next session. Mr F. G. Paterson appeared for the Attorney-General while Mr R. Stacey (Wellington), appeared for Raymond Harry Hancock and Geoffrey Blandford Sergent, both of Blenheim, the defendants named in the action.
