Suburban cricket scores

A feature of the first day's play In the fourth round of suburban cricket was the hattrick taken by the Beckenham . bowler, A Olbson, who captured five of the eight wickets which fell in Sumner's Innings. Beckenham was dismissed for only 104, A. Tlzxard top scoring with 30. In reply, Sumner had made 71 for eight wickets. At Denton Oval, Heathcote was all out for 88, this Innings being dominated by the Wilson brothers, R. Wilson taking six for 12 and G. Wilson three for 25. At stumps, Hornby was ahead on the first innings by eight runs, with six wickets in hand. At Waltham Park, Burnside, batting first, was dismissed for 142, D. McNaughton batting well for 65.
