Yacht launched at port
A Stiletto class yacht built by Mr P. J. Dick, of 32 Compton Street, Linwood, was launched at Lyttelton on Friday by Mrs Noeline Dick, wife of the builder and owner. The yacht was christened Saga. The yacht which will be used initially for local cruising, is 25ft long with a beam of 7ft and a draught of 4ft. It is fitted with a 44 h.p. auxiliary engine and has accommodation for four persons. Mr Dick said that he took nearly 20 months to build the yacht, and spent about $lBOO on materials.
