Obedience trial held
The Christchurch Canine Obedience Club held Its annual trophy obedience tests at its grounds in Lincoln Road. The Judges were Mesdames R. Shirley and C. M. Cooper, and Mr M. Krauze. Results were:— Special Beginners (Pegasus Cup): Miss V. R. Dockery’s Welsh corgi, Sea Malden of Sunlissa, 1; Mrs F. Moreham’s Welsh corgi, Sea Dragon of Monowai, 2; Mr F. Gilbert's and Mrs Gilbert’s samoyed, Slber Ayesha, 3. Novice Founders Cup: Mrs R. D, Peryer’s samoyed, Slber Titova, 1; Mr D. L. Richard’s German shepherd, Kssln of Raimata, 2; Mr Gilbert’s and Mrs Gilbert’s samoyed, Siber Ayesha, 3. Test A (Tilbury Cup): Mrs J. Topp’s sheepdog cross, Minton Pinerose, 1; Mr Z. R. Colville’s Welsh corgi, Katie of Ilandaff, 2; Mrs G. E. Cleaver’s Staffordshire bull terrier, Ch. Loggerheads Jingo, 3. Test B (Vai Brae Cup): Mr R, F. Morris’s German shepherd, Amigo Chase, 1; Mr F. Wood’s German shepherd, Ace of Bishopdale, 2; Miss M. Waldron’s Shetland sheep dog, Te Aral Prince, 3. Test C (Cavalier Cup): Mr J. Gallacher’s and Mrs Gallacher’s German shepherd Ob. Ch. Duke of Woodvale, 1; Miss J. Blanch’s shepherd cross, Jaybees Tammy Troot, 2; Mr Z. R. Colville’s Welsh corgi, Pen y Dre Sea Charm, 3.
