Change of name
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 15. The New Zealand Travel and Holidays Association has registered a change of name. By Order in Council it has become the New Zealand National Travel Association. The association was formed in 1953 to co-ordinate tourist industry efforts by the Government and private enterprise. The year it began 24,310 overseas tourists visited New Zealand. In 1969-70 the figure was 241,110.
