Pairs Bridge Results
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN. Christchurch contract bridge players dominated the top placings in the 1970 national pairs event at the week-end. The winners were F. P. S. Lu and J. R. Wignall, of Christchurch, two members of the New Zealand team which toured Australia in July.
Wignall and Lu came from sixth place on Saturday to win the title by scoring 857 points out of a possible 1200 yesterday afternoon. Results were:—
