COPPER TRAIL IN CATHEDRAL SQUARE.—About $l20 for the 1974 Commonwealth Games fund was raised by members of the South Island German Shepherd League yesterday, when 10 dogs were used to carry collection boxes. A copper trail in front of the Cathedral, started at 7.30 a.m. by the Mayor (Mr A. R. Guthrey), was more than 50 yards long when it was stopped at 4 p.m.
