Engineers Go Back
Fifty factory engineers returned to work at the Crown Crystal glassworks yesterday afternoon after a stoppage lasting nearly 24 hours. The dispute was over pay and was settled when the men accepted an interim increase of 5c an hour and an undertaking that their wages would be readjusted after the negotiation of the metal trades award late next month.
