U.S. Win In Britain
(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) YORK Carrying top weight, Morris Dancer, owned by an American millionaire, Mr P. Mellon, won the Bose of York Handicap, over one mile, on Wednesday. In a thrilling photo finish, Morris Dancer, which carried 9-0, won the £2624 (16300) first prize by beating the favourite, Caius, by a short head. Morris Dancer is an aged gelding by County Delight—Polyanthus, trained by I. Balding.
