(N.Z. Press Association) MASTERTON. In a high-scoring festival Rugby match, B. J. Loehores VX defeated C. E. Meads’s team, 27-23. after trailing, 18-20, at half-time. Scorers were:—Lochore's XV: H. Sims, B. Williams, A. Smith tries; M. Herewini dropped goal; W. F. McCormick three conversions and three penalties. Meads's XV: T. Tltarangi, P. Gard, A. Watkins, L. Mains tries; . Mains four conversions and one penalty.
