Squash Team’s Only Defeat
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. The Australian under 23 squash rackets team lost its only match of a New Zealand tour on Saturday, beaten on a count-back of games by Auckland. The matches were shared two-all, but Auckland took the contest by eight games to seven. Results (Auckland names first) were: C. Waugh lost to M. Donnelly, 9-6. 9-5, 5-9, 4-9 3-9; D. Burmeister beat R. Jolly, 9-6 9-0, 9-2; S. O’Dwyer lost to A. Jewell. 6-9, 0-9, 7-9; J. Stevens beat R. Meuleman 5-9, 10-9, 10-8, 9-5.
