(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter— Copyright) JACKSONVILLE (Florida). The New Zealander, R. J. , Charles, on 71, was three ! strokes behind the joint leaders, R. Cerrudo and D. January (both United States) after the first round of the ’ 8100,000 Jacksonville golf tournament yesterday. A. > Jacklin, the British open ; champion, scored a 70. In Bangkok, three New Zealand professionals were ' well behind the leaders in the first round -of the Thailand open championship. W. J. Godfrey had 75, J. M. Lister' 77 and T. Kendall 79. The Taiwan, Hsieh MinNam, with 68, led by three strokes.
