Burglaries In Boats
Seven pleasure craft were burgled and property stolen at the Governor’s Bay moorings on W’ednesday night, according to the Lyttelton police. Two dinghies and a set of oars were taken from the Governor’s Bay jetty. Both dinghies were recovered but one was badly holed. Five holiday baches at Maori Gardens, near Governor's Bay, were burgled. Two boys, one aged 13 and 14, have been questioned by the* Lyttelton police.
