Contract For Alterations (From Out Own Reporter» , WELLINGTON, Feb. 26. A tender has been accepted or additions and remodelling it Elmwood School. The contact has been awarded t<; )uffield and Barron, Ltd, for (36,31,3 the lowest of three enders received. The Minister of Education Mr Taiboys) said today that block built in 1937 would ie remodelled, a veranda in he 1928 block would be conerted to provide a classroom, rnrk bay and toilet, and loak facilities would be aded to both blocks. A new lock containing a libraryeading room and a new visial resources centre would be rected. The Minister said improved nd increased accommodation ras needed at the school to ater for the steadily-expand-ng roll.
