' A Government cheque for ' $l2OO towards the cost of ; building a church hall at St ; Aidan’s Presbyterian Church, ' Shirley, is being sent to Mr K. F. Abel, treasurer of the church. The grant was approved re- . i cently by the Minister of In/ternal Affairs (Mr Seath) Uns'der the church hall and youth t-l camp subsidy scheme. 8 Boy Shearer’s Visit J Nuku Smiler, the 11-year- ' old boy who sheared 134 ! lambs in nine hours on a Dip-; ' ton farm recently, is to show _ his skill in Christchurch.
