“Pyjama Tops" Prosecutions
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 4. i Prosecutions brought by the Mount Eden Borough Council in connection with the production of the show “Pyjama Tops” in the Crystal Palace Theatre, Mount Eden, were adjourned until Februiary 18 by Mr L. K. Dougall, S.M. Amalgamated Theatres, Ltd I (Mr R. N. T. Dixon) and I Celebrity International Pty, i Ltd, each faced eight charges ! that they used or allowed to I be used the theatre for a public performance or amusement, it not being licenced in accordance with the Muni-; Icipal Corporations Act, 1954. They each denied the ■ charges. The adjournment, which' was granted, was opposed by. the council “in the interests l of public safety."
