First-Innings Win To N.Z. (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) MELBOURNE, The touring New Zealand Universities cricket team had a crushing first-innings win over a combined Monash (Melbourne) and Flinders (Adelaide) universities side in a two-day game which ended yesterday. It was the second match of the New Zealanders tour. They lost the first against a combined Latrobe-Monash side by four runs. Yesterday, they resumed at their overnight score of 88 for one In reply to MonashFlinders’ 123, and went on to 235 for six before declaring. The opener, I. Walter, narrowly missed a century. He was caught behind for 97.
