More Awards For Maoris
(N.Z. Press association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 10. The number and value of awards approved by the Maori Education Foundation up to September 17 were ahead of the total for the whole of last year, the Minister of Education (Mr Kinsella) said today. To this date, 1359 awards worth almost $200,000, had been approved, compared with 1187 awards worth $181,113 last year, he said. The number of applications were also up this year.
