The Prime Minister (Mrs Indira Gandhi) emerged triumphant from a crucial Congress Party meeting yesterday called to decide whether she should be disciplined for drying party orders in the Presidential elections. The meeting of the 21stnmg working committee—the party's high command—decided to take no action against Mrs Gandhi and her supporters who supported the election of Mr V. V. Giri as president of India instead of the Congress Party candidate, Mr N. Sanjiva Reddy. “The Congress crisis had been resolved —nobody resigns. nobody goes,” the party general secretary, Mr Sadiq Ali, told reporters at the end of a 2i-faour meeting.
