Flu, Measles Close Schools
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 29. An outbreak of influenza and measles has caused a school in the Wellington Education Board’s area to close. The board’s assistant secretary (Mr T. C. Tritt) said today that Rapaura School, in Marlborough, would not reopen until this Friday. The school closed last Friday. He said a Wairarapa school pupil had died from Hong Kong flu about a week ago. Wesley College, at Paerata, near PuKekohe, has also Closed for two weeks because of influenza, the headmaster said today. some such organisation involving all areas of commerce
