Israeli Planes Raid Jordan
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) TEL AVIV, May 15. Israeli planes yesterday attacked an Arab guerrilla base about a mile and a half inside Jordan, a military spokesman announced.
The base was less than a mile south of the Jordanian village of Tabakat Fachl. The area is opposite a chain of Israel border settlements which have been under constant fire from across the Jordan since the 1967 six-day war. The raid lasted 15 minutek, Bagdad Radio announced that 10 Iraqis accused of spying for Israel, the United States and Iran, would be executed today. According to the names broadcast by the radio all the condemned men are Moslems. Since January 27 the ruling Arab Baath Socialist Party in Iraq has executed 28 people, including nine Jews, on spying charges. The radio did not say when the new groups, including soldiers and civilians, were tried. Abdel-hadi Al-bejjari, who' was condemned to death last January by a revolutionary court, is one of the condemned. His execution was postponed as his testimony was required in other alleged espionage cases pending before the Court. According to the radio the
