Gangster Sought
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) NEW YORK, May 15. Police organised a huge hunt yesterday for a gangster “Tony the Shrimp” La Sorsca who dodged a police ambush and escaped in a stolen car. Police fear that he has two hostages in the car —a young couple who had parked in a lonely wooded lover's lane. “Tony the Shrimp” is alleged to be the planner of a ring specialising in the dangerous art of . kidnapping Mafia leaders for ransom. One of his ring was killed and another seriously wounded yesterday when 15 armed detectives opened fire as the trio tried to kidnap two policemen posing as Mafia figures.
