Sea-Sickness
Sir.—The letter of “1.5. T. raises an interesting point,
as the writer can speak from personal experience of over 10 years seafaring in little ships and big ships. Having had a perforated ear drum since childhood, with a consequent deafness in that ear, I do not think it is just a coincidence that I have never suffered from sea-sickness, or, in fact, from any other form of travel sickness. 1 recall that, one time, somewhere, I read that a person with a perforated ear drum will not be affected by seasickness.—Yours, etc..
