GOOD-WILL VISIT
Warships In Wellington
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 8. Three warships from the Republic of China Navy battled through heavy seas before they arrived in Wellington this morning for a three-day good-will visit. This is the first time that ships from this navy have
visited Wellington. The ships are the Kun Yang the destroyer flagship, the Tai Yuan a destroyer escort, and the Hua Shan a patrol frigate.
Their good-will visit reciprocates a similar training visit to Taiwan by a New Zealand Navy vessel, the Waikato, early last year.
