Stock Judging Contests
Three teams from Canterbury! Country Girls’ Clubs were! among those entered in stock judging competitions held by the Canterbury Council of: Young Farmers’ Clubs at Blenheim. More than 130 members of Young Farmers’ Clubs and Country Girls’ Clubs from Westland, Nelson. Blenheim and Canterbury took part The winners will go to the national finals at Dannevirke next month. They win compete against council winners from the lower half of the South Island and the three Y.F.C councils in the North Island. Competitors came from as far south as Waimate. The Mid-Canterbury a team won the teams event with 13441 points. Timaru A was second J with 1303. and North Canter[bury B third, with 1287. I The individual aggregate was won easily by K. Wells, of thej (North Canterbury A team, with 1457. Second was N. Moorhead, of Christchurch C. with 1367, land T. Schnell (Christchurch B>; i was third, with 1337.
