Rodeo Title Awarded
(NZ. Press Association) NAPIER. A Hamilton rider. K. Hart, won the title of all round champion at the Rothman's National 'finals rodeo, at Meeanee Ho was awarded a 8200 trophy saddle by the New Zealand Rodeo Association for winning most points during the rodeo season Among the contestants were two Australian riders. Joe McDonald and H Parter. and eight top riders of the North Island circuit. McDonald was judged champion bare back rider for 1969. and was runner-up to the allround champion. The "rookie of the year" award, to the most promising novice, was made to G. Jones, of Stratford.
