More Uses For Surplus Milk

(N.Z.P.A. Staff Correspondent) LONDON. April 28 Although the agricultural ministers of the European Economic Community are not yet prepared to reach an agreement on the structural reform of farming in Europe they are continuing to wrestle with the problem of what Ito do with surplus milk proi ducts. At their meeting last week they agreed to allow whole milk powder to be used in the manufacture of feeding stuffs for cows. They also agreed to ask the E.E.C. Commission to draw up proposals for including milk products in the community's food aid programme and to sell stocks of skimmed milk powder at special low prices for use in the manufacture of pig and poultry food.
