Flood In Portugal
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) OPORTO (Portugal) Mar. 17. At least 80 families were moved from their homes along the Douro River in Oporto last night as Northern Portugal’s worst floods in 60 years crept toward Oporto, the country’s second largest city.
Four days of rain caused the river to overflow, isolating the town of Lever, seven miles east.
