Boy Achieves Hole-In-One
John Bowen, aged 14, using a 2 wood, scored a hole-in-one at the 221-yard fifteenth hole on the Avondale golf course recently. The “Guinness Book of Records” says that the youngest person to have scored a hole-in-one is Joe Dobson who, at six years three months and one day holed-in-one on a 115 yard-hole at a muicipal course in Meadowbank, Oklahoma, in 1958.
