‘Jews Tortured To Death’

(N.Z.P.A. -Reuter—Copyright) TEL AVIV, Feb. 24. Five Iraqi Jews have been tortured to death in Bagdad Prison, according to an Israeli Foreign Ministry’ official in Jerusalem, quoted by the New York Times News Service.

Mr Shlomo Hillel, Deputy Director of the Ministry, made the accusation in an interview broadcast by Koi Israel, the State radio station. Mr Hillel did not identify the victims nor supply any other details, but said the Bagdad regime was treating its Jews, as captives and hostages.
