New Flu Vaccine
(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) MELBOURNE, Jan. 7. The Commonwealth Serum Laboratories in Melbourne have developed a vaccine they say will beat the Hong Kong influenza. It will be released at the end of this month. A spokesman for the laboratories said today that the Hong Kong virus would be the worst variety of influenza Australia had experienced. There have been serious outbreaks of the strain in the United States and Britain, but not in Australia.
