(N.Z. Press Association) GISBORNE, Jan. 6. A Manurewa doctor was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment when he appeared before Mr W. M. Willis, S.M., in the Gisborne Magistrate’s Court, this morning. The doctor, Gordon Alexander Irwin, aged 58, pleaded guilty to a charge of driving while disqualified at the township of Tolaga Bay on December 30! The Magistrate extended Irwin’s period of disqualification until December 3, 1972. He said that only 27 days after being disqualified at Rotorua from driving for three years, Irwin had been seen driving. On his own admission he had driven previously.
