UNIVERSITY VACANCIES AUSTRALIA University Appointments University of New South Wales invites applications for appointment to. the following positions: School of Electrical Engineering SENIOR LECTURER/LECTURER (CONTROL SYSTEMS): Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent and have several years research experience in University or industry in the theory and/or application of modern control concepts. Duties will include teaching and thesis supervision of undergraduate and graduate students, and initiating and leading research in modern control theory and/or its application to advanced computer controlled systems. School of Applied Psychology LECTURER: Applicants must have a distinguished academic record and appropriate teaching experience. The School of Applied Psychology provides undergraduate courses for pass and honours students in science, commerce and arts, and a professional course in applied psychology. It also provides part-time and full-time training at the graduate level for Masters degrees and the Ph.D., and for a graduate diploma. Areas of active research at present include various aspects of learning, individual differences in abilities, hypnosis, depression, opinions and attitude change, behavour therapy, and road safety.
