AUTOBE PICKED AT NAPIER

HASTINGS. Autobe seems the best prospect in an even field for the Napier Handicap, the first leg of the T.A.B. double on the final day of the Napier Park races at Hastings tomorrow. Autobe is a fresh horse and at his last start ran seventh in the Wellington Handicap after finishing third in the Ansett Handicap at Hawera. He worked particularly well yesterday morning and obviously is at peak.

The Wairoa mare, Bellamour, which won at Trentham recently, is selected to win the Stewards' Handicap, second leg of the double.
