DUNEDIN, Nov. 6.
The body of a missing woman was found at the Hayward Point Cliffs at Aramoana, at the entrance to Otago Harbour, soon after 7 a.m. today. She was Miss Beverley Hancock, aged 45, a tutor sister at the Karitane Hospital.
She had been missing from her home in Andersons P y since Sunday morning. It is believed she left to go for a bird-watching walk. A special Search and Rescue squad began work at 5 o’clock this morning after Miss Hancock’s car was found in the area yesterday. The police believe that Miss Hancock slipped and fell down the cliff.
