Timaru Boy Wins Title
(N.Z. Press Association) ROTORUA. The second seeded T. Colyer (Tlmaru) won the national junior boys’ title at the New Zealand age-group squash championships in Rotorua yesterday. He beat R. Thorne (Masterton). 8-10, 9-6. 9-6, 10-8.
The top seeded S. Kennedy (Auckland) was eliminated in the semi-finals when T. Naughton (Canterbury University) upset him in a four game match. The junior girls’ title went to Miss M. Lynch (Palmerston North).
