WELLINGTON, Aug. 30.
The Naval Board has appointed the Harbourmasters in the four main centres honorary commanders in the Royal New Zealand Naval Reserve.
The appointments had been made in recognition of their exceptional service in promoting the interests of the Navy, the Navy Office said in a statement today. The four men are Captain R. H. Carter, of Auckland, Captain D. W. Galloway, of Wellington, Captain D. Holden, of Lyttelton, and Captain P. M. Church, of Otago.
